         Industrial automation systems and integration —
         Product data representation and exchange —
         Part 1603:
         Application module:
         Analytical model

         This part of ISO 10303 specifies the application module
         Analytical model.

         The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

         - identification of externally defined analytical and
            			computer-interpretable models and their versions;

- identification of the parameters of an analytical model;
- identification of the ports of an analytical model and their
            			specialisation as vector, scalar ports with discrete or analog
            			context;

- identification of derived analytical models and their ports from
            			another model;

- identification of the variables of an analytical model port;
- the application of an analytical model to a real or imaginary object
            			together with the needed parameter assignments;

- the assignment of analytical model ports to the target objects;
- items within the scope of application module Document structure, ISO/TS 10303-1124;

- items within the scope of application module Model parameter, ISO/TS 10303-1703;

- items within the scope of application module Product view definition relationship, ISO/TS 10303-1041;

- items within the scope of application module Software, ISO/TS 10303-1746.

         The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 10303:

         - assignment of an analytical model to a particular product;
- definition of the syntax and semantics of the computer sensible lexical representation of the source code of an analytical
            model.
