Part 47:
Integrated generic resource: Shape variation tolerances

1 Scope

This document specifies the integrated generic resource constructs for shape variation tolerances. This includes the semantic representation of geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing. The representations of dimensions and tolerances provided by this part of ISO 10303 are appropriate for use with both 2D and 3D geometric models of parts and are defined independent of a specific kind of geometry model. This part of ISO 10303 provides an unambiguous language for geometrical product specification, to be used and interpreted by computer systems, that are involved in design, manufacturing and inspection of products.
