4 Information requirements

This clause specifies the information requirements for the Contract application module. The information requirements are specified as the Application Reference Model (ARM) of this application module.

NOTE 1  A graphical representation of the information requirements is given in Annex C.

NOTE 2  The mapping specification is specified in 5.1. It shows how the information requirements are met by using common resources and constructs defined or imported in the MIM schema of this application module.

This clause defines the information requirements to which implementations shall conform using the EXPRESS language as defined in ISO 10303-11. The following begins the Contract schema.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
SCHEMA Contract_arm;
(*

4.1 ARM type definition

This subclause specifies the ARM type for this application module. The ARM type and definition is specified below.

4.1.1 contract_item   EXPRESS-G

The contract_item type is an extensible list of alternate data types. Additional alternate data types are specified in select data types that extend the contract_item type.

NOTE   This empty extensible select requires extension in a further module to ensure that entities that refer to it have at least one valid instantiation.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
TYPE contract_item = EXTENSIBLE GENERIC_ENTITY SELECT;
END_TYPE;
(*

4.2 ARM entity definitions

This subclause specifies the ARM entities for this module. Each ARM application entity is an atomic element that embodies a unique application concept and contains attributes specifying the data elements of the entity. The ARM entities and definitions are specified below.

4.2.1 Contract   EXPRESS-GMapping table

A Contract is a binding agreement.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
ENTITY Contract;
  id : STRING;
  purpose : STRING;
  kind : STRING;
END_ENTITY;
(*

Attribute definitions:

id: the identifier for the contract.

purpose: the text that provides information about the objectives of the contract.

kind: the text that identifies the type of the contract.

4.2.2 Contract_assignment   EXPRESS-GMapping table

A Contract_assignment is an association of a Contract with activity or product data.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
ENTITY Contract_assignment;
  assigned_contract : Contract;
  items : SET[1:?] OF contract_item;
END_ENTITY;
(*

Attribute definitions:

assigned_contract: the Contract that is to be associated with activity or product data.

items: the activity or product data to which the Contract is assigned.

4.2.3 Contract_relationship   EXPRESS-GMapping table

A Contract_relationship is a relationship between two Contract objects.

EXPRESS specification:

*)
ENTITY Contract_relationship;
  relating_contract : Contract;
  related_contract : Contract;
END_ENTITY;
(*

Attribute definitions:

relating_contract: an instance of Contract that is a part of the relationship.

related_contract: the other instance of Contract that is a part of the relationship. If one Contract in the relationship is dependent upon the other, this attribute shall be the dependent one.
