Sample files for use with IFC applications are listed below. The images for the files were generated using the IFC Viewer. The files are a mixture of older IFC2x3 and newer IFC4 data.

Annex E of the IFC specification provides a range of focused test files to excercise particular aspects of the models, like advanced brep geometry with spline surfaces, swept solids, and tesselated models. Other models can be found in the buildingsmart IFC examples and the Open IFC Model Repository run by the University of Auckland.
