Thanks to Joe and his digital camera, I am able to document the initial state of Suburban Outpost Two, as it was when we first set foot in there to do work -- July 18th, 2001.
It's going to be interesting to see how it changes over time. In particular, we will be painting and finishing floors, so the inside should look nicer. At the same time, I doubt that we will be able to keep up with the extensive gardens, so these pictures may show the outside at it's zenith.

Thanks to Gene Greger, we now have a reasonable plan for our defensive perimeter. Only three of these are in place at the moment though, I'll let you guess which ones!
Dave and Krista, I know that buying a house is expensive, so I didn't want to get too extravagant with the Outpost #2 defense proposal. I think you'll find my solution both elegant and practical. - Gene
