If you are having a problem using ST-Developer, we would like to help you. First, look at the support area of our web site and the patches available for download. If this does not help, please email your problem reports and support requests to the address shown below. The following guidelines will help us diagnose and respond to your problem quickly.
- Always include your return email address -- Some email
programs are misconfigured and do not provide a correct return address
in your mail header. If we don't have your address, we can't respond
to your questions.
- Describe your installation -- When reporting a problem,
please give us as much information as possible about your machine
configuration. List the versions of the operating system, compilers,
ST-Developer and any other tools. This will help us when we try to
reproduce the problem.
- Capture the actual error messages -- Please save all error
or warning messages and include them with your report. The actual
problem may be in a different place than you think. This will help us
to find the problem, even if it is elsewhere.
- Include a small program that reproduces the behavior -- If
you are reporting a problem within some code, first try to isolate and
reproduce it in a small, standalone program. This will help us to
identify and correct the problem with greater speed.
