ST-Developer comes with pre-installed libraries for use with the
Manufacturing standards defined by STEP.
- AP 219: Dimensional Inspection Exchange
Used to exchange the results of part dimensional inspection.
- AP 224: Features for Process Planning
Used to exchange 3D solid models for parts as well as descriptions of the features
on the part and tolerances.
- AP 238: STEP-NC Integrated CNC
Used to exchange a complete NC machining program for a part, with
toolpaths and operation parameters, a 3D solid describing the finished
part, features on the part, and tolerances.
Don't forget ST-Machine! It makes STEP-NC even easier with high-level DLLs for
building a STEP-NC pipeline to integrate your CAD, CAM, machining, and
probing processes.
- AP 240: Macro Process Planning
Used to exchange descriptions of factory-level process plans for parts.
